A Journey Through Hokuriku in Five Themes

language | ไทย | 繁體中文 | 简体中文
A Thailand-based creator, MII, together with Katsuta from Goen Thailand—who works on promoting Japan to Thai audiences—set out on a journey across the three Hokuriku prefectures.
In this article, I (Yoshithio Taya from JRC), who accompanied the trip, share the unique魅力 we encountered in Fukui, Ishikawa, and Toyama.

Hokuriku cannot be fully understood from a single perspective.
In this feature, we introduce the region through five key themes:
“Summer Adventure,” “Nature,” “Industry & Cultural Experiences,” “Food (Summer & Autumn),” and “Food (Winter).”
Each theme offers a different angle on the depth and character of Hokuriku.

When traveling through Hokuriku, we recommend exploring with a shared theme in mind.
Even within the same category—such as nature or food—each area reveals a different expression.
By experiencing these contrasts, you can gain a deeper appreciation of the region as a whole.

Each theme is presented as a separate article.
You can start with whichever topic interests you most, or explore them all to experience the full, multifaceted appeal of Hokuriku.

We invite you to discover the many worlds of Hokuriku through these themes—and enjoy shaping your journey in your own way.
